Congratulations to This Year’s Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, Gloria Salomon!
As Chair of DBS, previously operating as Preston Group, a full-service High-rise development and management company, Gloria Salomon C.A., C.P.A. has over 35 years’ experience in high-rise residential rental properties as an owner/manager of approximately 1850 suites in Toronto. Currently, DBS Developments is involved in new high-rise rental construction and plans to double in size over the next five years.
Gloria is a long-time member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario and sits on its Executive and Government Relations Committees. As a past Chair of the Greater Toronto Apartment Association and member of the Board of Directors, Gloria is active in the organization’s liaison with municipal matters and dealing with the City of Toronto.
Gloria also is a Director of Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre, a charitable organization that is committed to Holocaust education, and to countering antisemitism, promoting freedom, democracy, and human rights for all.
