At Enbridge Gas, we work hard to help Ontario residents and businesses save money and reduce their environmental footprint with our energy conservation programs. We see the need to provide safe, affordable and reliable energy while protecting the environment. As well, our parent company, Enbridge Inc., sees significant opportunity in renewable energy, particularly offshore wind and solar.
For many years, Enbridge Gas has been leading the transition to a low-carbon economy in Ontario, encouraging our residential, low-income, commercial and industrial customers to use natural gas wisely through our long-established energy conservation programs. Our main goal is to improve people’s quality of life by reducing their energy costs.
On the homeowner side, we offer rebate programs for energy audits and energy-efficient measures such as upgraded insulation, a high-efficiency furnace and air sealing. We also offer new building construction advice for builders to build energy-efficient homes above building code.
Programs designed for multi-residential, commercial and industrial customers include free expert advice from our team of Energy Solutions Advisors, who can help you identify and prioritize energy efficiency upgrades. Plus, we offer incentives for new and existing buildings to offset the implementation cost of energy-efficient equipment, such as condensing and high-efficiency boilers, building automation systems, and make-up air units.
